About the Topic

ASP-Boston hosts a monthly session on the first Tuesday of the month. Join us on March 2nd at 7:30 am.

In order to be successful, life science and technology companies require that technically trained experts and business professionals work together productively. But scientists and business people often have different priorities and training, and can experience trouble understanding one another. Strategic leadership skills are therefore essential in being able to help the organization navigate between these distinct cultures. Dr. Acton will use case studies to demonstrate how companies can improve their leadership strategy so that they can thrive at the intersection of science and business – or in any situation where disparate disciplines must work together.
